Father God Almighty, I come before you today as a sinner, and I acknowledge
and confess my sins before You. I confess that I have up to now lived my life
for myself, and not for You or for Jesus. I confess that I am lost without Jesus
Christ in my life. Lord Jesus, I confess that I cannot help myself, and that I
cannot ever enter the presence of God without you as my Lord and Savior. I’m
lost in my sins Lord Jesus, and I ask You to please help me, and to please
forgive me. Lord Jesus, I invite You now to become the Lord of my life. I invite
You to come and live Your life through me, so my life can receive meaning
and purpose as I live for Your glory, Your honor, and Your purposes. I ask
You now Lord Jesus to be my savior, as I confess You to be the only Savior of
this world - the only one chosen of God to bring salvation to the lost, and to
me. I believe Your Word is true in terms of John 6:47 which says, "I tell you the
truth, he who believes has everlasting life."  I now believe and declare that I
am forgiven, saved, cleansed and purified by the blood of the Lamb and in the
name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  I take my life back from the evil one, and I
dedicate it to You Lord Jesus to use as You please Lord, and I know You will
use me that the Father be glorified through the Son.  I also ask of you, Lord
Jesus, to grant me the gift of repentance that I may truly repent of all my sins.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.
SALVATION PRAYER OF FAITH
CONTACT US.........
If you have just prayed this prayer in faith, know that you are now
saved and part of God’s family!  We also want you to know that Romans
10:9 says "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe
in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."  So
not only do you have to believe in your heart, but you are also to
confess with your mouth that you are truly saved by the Lord Jesus
Christ.  When you do this, Jesus' promise is true in Revelation 3:20:
"Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice
and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."
Notice that Jesus is standing on one side knocking.  The door handle is
only on one side - ours.  It is only when we open the door from our side
that He can, and will, come in.

We pray for you, that God will grant you the gift of repentance, and
begin revealing Himself to you in marvelous and magnificent ways.  We
pray that God will grant you the gift of faith, to help you understand,
believe and receive the gifts God has for you through belief in His Son,
Jesus.  If you have prayed this prayer,  please
contact us and let us
know.  We want to praise God with you for this most awesome decision
and step you have taken in your life.  We would also like to send you
some information to get you started in your new life with Jesus Christ.

Salvation is a free gift from God.  What is a gift, but something one person gives to another
with the intent of blessing the person?  Romans 6:23 says, “The free gift of God is eternal
life.” Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, that no-one should boast.”  What is
grace?  Grace is God’s unmerited favor.  The word unmerited means undeserved,
unwarranted, and unearned.  It is simply the love God shows toward those He has created.
Eternal life is a free gift of God, and that gift is offered to us irrespective of our works, our
standing, our position, or our status in life. This gift of eternal life can only be received by
grace through faith, and there is absolutely nothing that we can do to earn our way into
heaven. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING we as humans can do to “earn” our way into
heaven. No amount of good works, no amount of money, no amount of donations, no title, no
degree, no position in life. There is simply nothing we can do to “earn” our way into heaven.
As a matter of fact, the bible also teaches us in Isaiah 64:6 that our “good deeds” are as filthy
rags in the sight of God”, meaning that if we would want to measure our good deeds as a
form of currency trying to buy our way into heaven, that God will look at it as just a bunch of
filthy rags with zero value.

Because God IS  eternal life, God’s way is the only way and is not subject or conditional to
anything we could ever do to earn our way to heaven through our so-called goods deeds.
The only way is by us accepting this free gift through faith as the key that will unlock the door
into His presence, salvation, and eternal life.

The significance and magnitude of this free gift (of God) can be more clearly understood
when we see what the bible says about man…

At his best, man is a sinner.  Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God.”  If EVERYBODY has sinned – and do so daily - then we understand that
NOBODY is without sin. Sin is doing anything that is against the will of God. So how do we
sin? Well, we sin by having ungodly thoughts such as lust, desire, and covetousness. We
sin by doing what we’re not supposed to do, such as stealing, cheating, not forgiving others
[even if it wasn’t our fault!], acting selfishly and not sharing with others, not acting in love,
jealousy, creating arguments, strife, and division, creating idols in our lives other than God.
(Idols are anything that we worship more than God, for example our work, our car, TV,
alcohol, food, drugs, gambling, celebrity and sports figures, and money.)  Then we also sin
by NOT doing what we’re supposed to do, such as taking care of the poor, the sick, the
underprivileged, the widows, those called to full time ministry, etc.

So we can see that the average person would commit sin many times a day.  In order to
illustrate this, let's look at one aspect of how we sin.  The average person will have on
average 10,000 thoughts going through his or her mind on an average day.  Now, we sin in
our thoughts in a simple way; for example, by pondering on thoughts of lust, desire, jealousy,
unforgiveness, etc.  How many of the average 10,000 thoughts per day would contain some
measure of sin?  So by looking at this one example, you would agree with me that the
average person will commit many, many sins in one day.  Imagine however, we can find one
person who is so good that he/she sins only 3 times a day [which is really impossible]. Well,
if that person would reach the age of seventy and then die and stand before the Lord to give
an account of his/her life, that person would stand before God having committed about
SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY [76,650] sins!!  So now we can see
the truth of the word that says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Imagine what would happen if you stood before a human judge having committed 76,000
offenses!  The judge would "lock you up and throw away the key", or you would be on death
row.

The problem is that God is Holy and God is perfect, and so our sins create a separation
between God and us.  We understand this even more so when we see that God’s standard
to enter into His presence is … “Be perfect even as your Heavenly Father is perfect.” [Matthew
5:48]  Our sins, and how God feels about them, come into sharper focus when we see what
the bible teaches us about God…

We have said that grace is God’s love toward us.  James 5:11 says, “The Lord is full of
compassion and is merciful.”  1 John 4:8 says, “God is love”.  However, the same bible also
teaches us that He is a JUST God, and because He is JUST, He must punish sin.  Exodus
34:7 says, “He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished.”  So now it doesn’t takes super
intelligence to realize that we as humans have a problem… Why? Well, if we place our hope,
our faith, and our trust in our “good deeds”, our own self-righteousness, our own ability, our
position in life, or even our money to “earn” our way into heaven, then all those “things” have
become our God, and so there is no place for the real true God  - the God of the BIBLE!  All
these things are an insult to God because when we put our faith in any of these things, we
are rejecting the gift that God Almighty is offering us.

We also learned that because of our sinfulness, we come far short of HIS standard of being
“perfect”.   Now, even though He does not want to punish us for our sins, the very fact that He
is just and righteous “forces” Him to punish sin.  Imagine you commit a serious speeding
offense and are summoned to appear before a judge. The judge might decide he likes you,
that you’re a “good” person. However, none of these things would mean anything. The fact is
you committed a serious offense, and because of the law, the judge MUST punish you. It’s
that simple.  To take it a step further, what would happen if you got repeated speeding
tickets?  Instead of just slapping your hand with a small fine, there would come a time when
mandatory jail time would happen, and you would not be able to work or pay your way out of
it.  Are you getting the picture? On our own we as humans can never enter the presence of
God – we are dirty, stinking, filthy rags of flesh compared to His Holiness and perfection.  We
have committed so many sins…daily…that we have surpassed our ability to “pay” for them.
We are now “stuck with no way out.”

But praise God for His grace!!!!  Remember, God is MERCIFUL, and God is LOVE.  In 2 Peter
3:9 the bible teaches us that” God does not wish anybody  to perish, but that all should come
to repentance”, and because of that, He found the solution…the WAY through which we may
enter into His presence in a way that would make us sinners acceptable to Him and His
holiness. That WAY is ONLY THROUGH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Jesus himself said, “I
am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.” (John 14:6)  Can
you remember at the start we learned that eternal life is a free gift? Well, the Lord Jesus
Christ IS God’s free gift to mankind. That is why nothing that we can ever do would be good
enough, because Jesus Christ IS God's chosen and only way – HIS GIFT!!

So who exactly is Jesus Christ?  John 1:1,14 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God…and the Word became flesh and dwelt
amongst us.”  There seems to be some misunderstanding sometimes about the person of
Jesus Christ and who He is. Let’s clarify it here.

Scripture tells us EXACTLY who Jesus Christ is…He is eternal God, and eternal man. The
same Word who was WITH God….IS God…and CAME IN THE FLESH – IN THE FORM OF A
MAN. The Lord Jesus Christ did not begin His existence when He was born of Mary. HE WAS
ETERNAL, HE IS, AND HE CAME IN THE FLESH AS A MAN.

Why did He do this?  Because it is man who has sinned, and so it is man who must pay the
price for sin.  We have learned, however, that man is not capable of not sinning, and
continues to rack up his account day after day.  Man is therefore, just due to the shear
magnitude of offenses against God, unable pay off the debt and the judgment that God has
rendered against man.  Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Remember we said that our sin separates us
from God.  God is perfect, and anything less than perfect is sin and is therefore subject to
death.  Remember also that we've learned that "ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory
of God."  This means all of humanity!  Jesus, out of His love for us, made a way so this didn’t
have to happen.  He came to earth as a man and lived the life man lives with one exception:
He never sinned.  He did what we couldn’t…and can’t…do.   He lived a perfect life according
to God’s standard.  And then He died for us.  He went before Father God and said, “I will pay
the price for the sin of all of humanity.  I will bear the punishment that is due to them for their
sins.  I will pay for their sins and I will purchase their place in heaven through My death.”

Isaiah 53:4-5 says “Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we
considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted.  But He was pierced for our
transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace
was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.  We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”  It
is clear by this that when Jesus was crucified on the cross for our transgressions that the
punishment He suffered was to bring us peace with God, and to heal us from all the effects
of sin in our lives.  It is because Jesus Christ took our infirmities, sins and rebellious acts
upon Himself, that He was judged by God instead of us, because OUR sins were upon
HIM.   What was the judgment, or penalty, for sins?  Death and eternal separation from God.
THIS is the penalty Jesus Christ paid and as a result, we may now receive eternal life with
God as a free gift, because it was paid for in full by Jesus Christ. When we accept Him as the
ONLY WAY, then we – through Him – have become completely acceptable to the Father –
God Almighty.

Do you now understand why we learned earlier that we can never earn eternal life through
any good works or so-called holiness?  Jesus Christ was God's choice to be the only key
through who we may receive salvation, and therefore any other effort from man's side will
simply be a denial of what Jesus Christ did for us at Calvary, and therefore an insult to God.
It is by believing in Jesus, who He was, and what He accomplished at Calvary for mankind,
that we are saved.  John 6:40 says "For My Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son
and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Now
remember we've learned that it is by grace that we are saved through faith.  And this faith is
faith in Jesus Christ as the only way unto salvation.  But what exactly does it mean to have
faith - in Jesus Christ?  The bible teaches us in Hebrews 11:1 that “Faith assures us of
things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see.”   So how do we
apply this faith?  First, let us understand what faith is and what it is not.

It is not just enough to believe.  Faith is not just head knowledge.  It is not just intellectual
assent.  James 2:17 says, “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”  Verse
19 says, “You believe that there is one God.  Good!  Even the demons believe that – and
shudder.”  From that we learn that even though demons have an intellectual knowledge of
Jesus Christ and even shudder just at the mention of His name, fact of the matter is, they do
not have faith in Him as Savior.  So, to say that you know who Jesus is does not mean you
have faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.  We can understand this better by learning what faith is.

To have faith in Jesus Christ means that I will transfer all my trust, all my hopes for my
salvation to Him as being the only way into the presence of God.  To have trust in Jesus
Christ means that I accept as a reality that He paid the ultimate price and was punished for
my sins.  And so by having faith in Him I can no longer put my faith or trust in anything else
but Him as the only way into God's presence. In John 6:47 the Lord Jesus says, "I assure
you, I most solemnly tell you, he who believes in Me - who adheres to, trusts in, relies on and
has faith in Me - has [now possesses] eternal life."

Jesus Christ is your gift from God – from Him directly to you.  I can hold a gift out to you, but if
you never reach out and take it, it is of no use.  This gift of salvation, of everlasting life, of
unspeakable joy, of walking in your destiny, of healing and deliverance, of living a full and
complete life rests in knowing the person of Jesus Christ.  The commitment on your part
begins simply by reaching out in faith and believing in Him.  Trusting in Him.  Trusting Him
with your life, and with your salvation.

If you have heard His voice calling to you today, all you need do is open the door of your heart
and receive Him as your Savior…the one who saves.  Receive Him not only as your personal
Savior, but also as your Lord.  It is not just head knowledge, but action.  When we accept
Jesus as our Lord, we recognize His sovereignty in our lives.  We recognize His authority to
be in charge of our lives, to guide us and direct us on the right path – HIS path.  We say that
He knows more than we do and better than we do, so we need to listen to Him and not our
own wants and desires.  We repent of our sins, which means we not only confess with our
mouths that we have sinned, but we turn away from them, turning our back on our “old ways”
making a 180 degree turn, and walking in the complete opposite direction.  To be Lord
means that Jesus becomes the epicenter of our existence. We begin to live our lives with a
complete new emphasis - an emphasis to honor Him, to glorify Him. How else can we say
thank you Jesus for what you’ve done for me and for us?

If you would like to make this commitment to Him now, all you need to do is ask Him.  He
has made a promise in John 6:37 that “the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast
out.”  Jesus is there to receive you, and His Holy Spirit is there to guide you.  Just pray this
prayer out loud.
